Users may get a shock from Vaio notebooksSony is notifying owners of certain Vaio notebooks that their modems might not perform as well as expected.
I got an alert from VAIO Support Agent today, notifying me about the problem. I will have to contact them tomorrow, to find out if my model is affected. I actually hope it is, because in that case I would get one more year of warranty :-)
